Depending on the application, they can be manufactured as walk-on or non-walk-on panels, each designed to serve specific structural and operational requirements.
Construction and Materials
Cleanroom ceiling panels are constructed from powder-coated GI, pre-painted GI, or stainless steel sheets on both sides, with high-quality insulation infill at the core. These infill options include:
PUF (Polyurethane Foam) with a density of 40±2 kg/m³
PIR (Polyisocyanurate Foam) with a density of 48±2 kg/m³
Rockwool with densities ranging from 96 to 144 kg/m³
This combination ensures excellent fire resistance, thermal insulation, and acoustic control—features crucial in sensitive cleanroom environments.
Structural Strength and Dimensions
With a GI framework and sheet thicknesses of 0.5, 0.6, and 0.8 mm, these panels are designed to endure tough conditions. Their load-carrying capacity ranges from 75 to 250 kg per square meter, making them strong enough to support utilities and equipment.

Sealing and Hygiene
Maintaining a contamination-free atmosphere is the primary purpose of cleanroom panels. To achieve this, food-grade silicone sealant is applied on both sides of the panels, ensuring that the gap does not exceed 4 mm. This meticulous sealing prevents particulate infiltration and upholds hygiene standards in controlled environments.
Functional Features
Cutout Provisions: Panels can be customized with cutouts for HVAC systems and electrical services, finished neatly with C-type flashings.
Support System: Panels are supported by wall panels and suspension rods. Hanging arrangements include suspension rods with adjustable turnbuckles, securely fastened to the slab with anchors.
Color Options: Standard RAL 9002 finish is provided, but panels can be manufactured in any color from the RAL chart to match project aesthetics.
Panel Types: Available in both progressive and non-progressive designs, offering flexibility for future modifications or expansions.
